The Pratt County Historical Society and Museum has a WW II display which includes information about the Pratt Army Air Field. In addition they have many other resources in its library including letters, books, publications and photographs. This website was built as an extension to these resources to share this period of local history with all those who have an interest in this subject.

The Pratt Tribune was founded in 1917. After decades of community leadership and public service, the newspaper offices burned to the ground on July 18, 1989. Since then, the Tribune has become Kansas' most honored small daily, winning the Kansas Press Association's General Excellence Award competition in 1991, 1992, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.
